The 40 years in Kannada filmdom as an actor, well deserved recognition and flamboyant Ambarish is upset totally with the attitudes of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.

Speaking to a group of journalists after the success party of ‘Veera Parampare’ at Abhimani Vasathi Ambarish said calling indefinite bundh of the Kannada film industry is not the right thinking. Bundh is not an ordinary issue. Without consulting anyone for his whims and fancies Basanthkumar Patil has declared bundh is not called for said Ambarish.

Quoting from his experience of the past Ambarish said during the abduction of Dr Raj by fugitive Veerappan the industry was observed bundh. It was unanimous but what happened a month later is very disgusting. A cinema technicians came to me asked whether he has to leave his grown up daughters for ‘prostitution’. That shattered me. We thought of cinema activities then Ambarish brushed his memory.
